Inovasi dan Teknologi dalam Pembangunan Infrastruktur Strategis di Indonesia
BACKGROUND:
According to United Nations Development Program (UNDP), more than 74% of Indonesian population will live in cities by 2030. Currently, Indonesia has the fastest urbanization growth in Asia with annual average rate of 4.4% (faster than China and India).
World Bank reported in 2019 that cities and municipalities in Indonesia generate an estimated 105,000 tons of solid waste a day. That number is expected to increase to 150,000 tons per day by 2025. However, 40 percent of the country’s 142 million urban residents still do not have access to basic waste collection services.
Solid waste management become critical in urban infrastructure development and increasingly gets higher priority in the national agenda. In 2017, Government issued Policy and National Strategy on Municipal Solid Waste Management. Furthermore, in 2018, Government issued Presidential Decree no 35/2018 for Acceleration of Waste to Energy Facility Development in 12 cities in Indonesia. In 2020, Indonesia launched National Plastic Action Partnerships which outlines the country’s strategy to address plastic waste
issue.

Climate Change Adaptation in The Concrete Industry
BACKGROUND:
Description Indonesia aims to realize major construction projects worth $412bn between 2020 and 2024 to strengthen the economy and support the ongoing decentralisation drive. It is predicted that the number of new contracts in the construction sector will skyrocket by 70% starting 2021.
Being the second-largest cement producer in Southeast Asia, the Indonesian cement industry is encouraged to work on infrastructure projects. According to the Ministry of Public Works, the national cement industry was oversupplied by 37% (41 million tons) in 2020. This condition presents opportunity for the cement industry to expand
distribution to regional and international export markets and boost infrastructure construction by providing cement to reinforce concrete State-owned construction enterprises, i.e. Wijaya Karya, Waskita Karya, and Adhi Karya.
This webinar will provide Indonesian construction and infrastructure key players with Canadian sustainable world-class capabilities in the cement and concrete industry. The event will present Canadian proven technologies in reducing carbon footprint and support local circular economy in the industry.
Some of the topics in the Webinar:

Inovasi Teknologi Beton Pracetak dan Prateganga dalam Mendukung Program Pembangunan Nasional
BACKGROUND:
Indonesia has been striving to close its infrastructure gap and has witnessed a dramatic increase in infrastructure spending in recent years. Nonetheless, traditional infrastructure financing from government budgets falls short of the financing required for all the priority infrastructure projects in the country. The Indonesian Ministry of Finance’s fiscal plan forecasts USD131 billion in private sector financing, USD79.8 billion from State-Owned Enterprises; and, USD148.2 billion from State and Regional Budgets. Various measures for attracting alternative financing from private sector sources are under consideration, including keen interest in attracting investments from Canadian pension funds and other institutional investors.
The Covid-19 pandemic has further constrained the Government of Indonesia’s fiscal space and its ability to finance hundreds of infrastructure projects outlined in the Indonesia’s Mid-Term National Development Plan (RPJMN 2020 – 24) which is the final stage of the nation’s 20-year Long-Term National Development Plan (RPJPN 2005–25), which also includes plans to move the capital to Kalimantan.

Inovasi Beton Mutu Tinggi dan Ramah Lingkungan Bagi Pembangunan Infrastruktur Strategis yang Berkelanjutan
